Do you have an insatiable love for Jesus and want to share it?
Do you find yourself wanting to do more for your Church and people who are in most need of God's love?
If so, the Saint Aloysius Evangelization team is in need of your passion and zeal to help spread the Good News!
What is evangelization, you ask? Evangelization is simply sharing the Good News and reality of Jesus with others, especially those who have never heard it. The best way to do this is to just tell others how your faith in Jesus has helped you in your life.
Jesus himself told the Apostles just before he ascended into Heaven “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”(Mt 28:19-20)
These were his last words. This demands a response from us as well.
Pope John Paul II said that it is our supreme duty to evangelize! St. Aloysius Catholic Church established the Evangelization Committee to make evangelization a priority for our parish. Ultimately, our Lord each of us to become an Apostle (one who is sent) to proclaim His Good News (evangelize). “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” (John 20:21)
Are you ready to share your story, your faith, with others?
Please prayerfully consider joining the Evangelization Team this year as we discover new ways to define our mission as a church and as a parish community.
Our meetings occur approximately once a month as we brainstorm ideas to invigorate the parish and the community around us in Christ's love. Some of our past events include:
We need you, but most importantly, the world needs you.
