Tim Menard, Bryan McCarthy, Jeffery Hagen, Patrick Boyle, and Brandon Hurry participate weekly in Friends of Faith Prayer Group held at Heavenly Presents every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00PM. The group is led by Gerda Biglin and Liz Tomaszeski. This month’s theme is: Thankfulness. We are exploring Psalm 100 and discussing how it relates to our Thanksgiving celebration. We acknowledge that we are
thankful that Jesus died for us and teaches us to love one another. The level of participation and involvement in discussion has been a true blessing. Thanks, Pat Copsey for always welcoming us to your beautiful store.
We are so proud of Bryan McCarthy who had the honor of being chosen to read the Prayer of the Faithful during the White Mass held at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the
Apostle on October 27th. Bryan did an excellent job and is always comfortable leading people in prayer. Bryan also had his photo taken with Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory. This year was the 10th anniversary of the White Mass. During that time, many of our families have participated or attended this wonderful event. Great job, Bryan!
As a Special Needs Catechist, I provide adaptive religious education for some of our students in the Family of Faith program. We are having such a great time that my grandson has joined the fun! The Family of Faith program is a great way to personalize religious education while connecting the child to parish life. Thank you to all the families who attend class on extra days. You make us all want to work harder.
A special thanks to Jody Cacko for providing ASL interpretation at the 11:00 Mass on the third Sunday of the month. This month ASL will be provided on November 17,2019.
