Summer Camp 2024

- St. Aloysius Church is going to Catholic Youth Summer Camps Great Lakes from June 16 to 21, 2024! CYSC Great Lakes is one of three summer camps run by Damascus, a dynamic Catholic ministry based in Centerburg, Ohio. At Damascus camps, teens are given the opportunity to dive deeply into their Catholic faith and strengthen their relationship with Christ while having unforgettable experiences. Highlights include amazing talks, great music, Mass, Adoration, ropes courses, rock wall climbing, water activities, and much more.
  
  The total cost for attending is $695 ($545 paid to Damascus during registration plus $150 payable below to "St. Aloysius Church" to help offset the cost of transportation and overhead costs). If you are in need of financial assistance to attend camp, please reach out to Leonard Wathen to discuss options. There are two steps to reserve your spot for camp:
  
  Register for camp on the Damascus website, following the instructions below.
  
  Register at the bottom of this page in order to save a spot on our bus.
  
  Here are the instructions for registering with Damascus:
  
  Create a "New User" account or log in to an existing account with this link
  
  Go to "My Reservations"
  
  Go to "New Reservation" and click "Add Person" to fill in your child's information, and then add child.
  
  Either click "I belong to a group that has reserved spaces" in red letters and enter the group registration code ALOYLEON24 or click the link(s) provided above
  
  Select High School or Middle School reservation
  
  At the end, you can choose to add a reservation for another camper, or continue to payment.

  I, give permission for my son/daughter to attend Camp Covecrest from July 30 to August 5, 2023 with St. Aloysius Church. In consideration of my child’s being permitted to participate in this event, I personally and on behalf of my child, hereby release The Archdiocese of Washington; Wilton Gregory, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Washington; a Corporation Sole: the Catholic Youth Organization of Washington, DC and Metropolitan Area, Inc; the Office of Youth Ministry; their employees; volunteers, the coordinators and chaperones of St. Aloysius Church; from any liability for injuries or damages arising or resulting from participation in the camp, in and/or transportation to and therefrom. In the event that I cannot be reached, I hereby grant permission for my son/daughter to be evaluated, diagnosed, treated and/or medicated in accordance with standard medical practice by licensed medical personnel. Permission is hereby granted to St. Aloysius Church to use the photographs and quotations of my son/daughter to assist in community awareness, educational efforts, related public relations purposed that may include brochures, posters, website and print media. My child agrees to abide by all rules and regulations. I understand that the Office of Youth Ministry and the Archdiocese of Washington will not be held liable if my child fails to cooperate with said regulations and that any infractions of the rules may result in immediate dismissal from the camp.
